Aug 24 2009'Inception' Trailer: Your MIND is the Scene of the Crime
There's this now: the trailer for Inception If this were a straight-to-video production, I would still be scoffing at the film's "your mind is the scene of the crime" tagline, but since this is a Christopher Nolan-directed sci-fi movie starring Leonardo DiCaprio, I guess I'm going to have to assume the mind being the scene of the crime isn't as laughable as it sounds in this case. Just so long as the mind being the scene of the crime doesn't mean some Fantastic Voyage scenario where Leonardo DiCaprio is shrinking himself down to the side of a brain cell to literally enter a criminal's head and find the clues to solve a murder.
Ah, who am I kidding? I would love that movie.
Now we know a glass of water works just as well for detecting shifts in gravity as it does for detecting if a Tyrannosaurus Rex is approaching your SUV.

Kind of shitty trailer for a cool looking movie with some starpower behind it.

i don't know, it looked pretty cool to me. Chris Nolan really can't do no wrong.
Either way, this "teaser" teased me more than the Avatar teaser.

If Nolan's involved it should be good. Some good visuals in the trailer.

Hey hey!
Michael Caine. Has he been in all of Nolan's films?

Trailer doesn't do anything for me but Nolan's built up enough goodwill for me to go see this.

Your idea is brilliant. Start writing the script! It's like a new-age Innerspace!

Yeah...I was expecting MUCH more from this teaser.....that didnt do SHIT for me. 90% of it was the camera flying over cityscapes....the music was cool though.

I saw the name Joseph Gordon-Levitt in there! I'm sold.

chris nolan hardly has a list of credits that make me think he "can do no wrong." only 6 full length films and only 2 I would categorize as great and a few I might even file under, "meh."
I dug this movie the first time I saw it when it was called Dark City. Still, visuals look cool, might be worth checking out.

they're just using the same theme sound for the Joker. But it's ok, it's Chris Nolan's anyway

The trailer looks very good. With Nolan directing to boot! This is going to be a great one.

I don't know... This trailer felt like... Let me put it this way... At the end of it I was expecting DiCaprio to say "I'm Batman!!!!" xD

I hate how everyone has their mouth all over Chris Nolans balls just cause he did a couple good Batman movies... "He can do no wrong" and "its ok...its Chris Nolan"....I mean wtf....get the guys dick out your ass. Yeah the Batman films were good but he's still got a LONG way to go before I can say "he can do no wrong".
