Aug 28 2009'Descent 2' Trailer: Blind Mutants Are Still in That Cave!
After the first Descent, you'd really think someone would have sealed up that cave full of blind, Batboy-esque mutants to stop them from murdering all our hot, female spelunkers. But, alas, our governments mutant cave-filling bureaucracy failed us again, and a new group of babes--now accompanied by a lecherous old man--have fallen into what appears to be the exact same scenario as Descent I. Oh well:
Hopefully this is the Aliens to The Descent's Alien, so maybe they brought flamethrowers, and a less deceptive android.

To me.. this sequel kinda ruins the director's cut of the film. Sure this works with the american release of this movie, but to me, this one will never exist. I will not let it taint my imagination like the Matrix sequels.

Sooo... I'm not really understanding the point of making this movie. I liked the first one but I don't want to go pay to watch the first one starring different people again. I mean for a sequel to this movie I would have even settled with a prequel or something explaining what the fuck those things are... probably would have sucked too.

@1, she didn't actually die in the real ending, either, so the sequel isn't necessarily invalid for that reason. On the other hand, I've always been a proponent of the idea that there were no monsters and Sarah killed everyone down in the cave, so I'm pretty leery for that reason.

the original ending was quite good and the alternative ending was shite!
so in that case this should be like all modern horror sequels, random scare tactics just to please the little children with fake ids going to see it.

The first movie scared the shit out of me, i think this one could be really good cause its the story of how every girl died in the first one but the plot is that in this one Sarah realizes that there's no creatures and that it was indeep she who killed her friends cause the cave is damned or something and that make her kill everybody in this one also!
