Jul 29 2009'Twilight' Series Gets a Bryce Howard
Bad news, 14-year-old girls: Twilight continuity has been compromised! EW reports Bryce Dallas Howard, Ron Howard's more attractive offspring recently seen in Terminator Salvation, will be joining Eclipse, the third Twilight film, replacing Rachelle Lefevre in the role of Victoria. Thankfully, I still know next to nothing about the series, so who is or isn't in it really has no bearing on my life. This is like finding out the Copy Center girl at Staples won't be in today. "Cathy's sick!? Oh, man, who's going to unlock the case to get people their ink cartridges?!" What do I care?
And by the dubs, Twilight fanatics, Lefevre is leaving for scheduling conflicts, so don't bother with a petition or anything. Save the creative energy for your Robert Pattinson mural.

Scheduling conflicts is ALWAYS a euphemism. How can she possibly schedule in something in that 1-2 weeks slot in 2011 when Twilight 2 shoots? Either she has a retarded planner or it's something else.

To the idiots here. They have already finished shooting Twilight "2". It'll be in theaters this November. They're just about to start filming Twilight "3" so it'll be in theaters by summer of 2010. Twilight "4" should be in theaters by fall 2011
“Twilight” took in $70.6 million at the box office in it’s debut weekend.
So no not fail just because you've never watched the movie nor read the book series.

According to an interview, the replacement wasn't by her choice. Sounds like the film company was acting like an arrogant prick. There is no conflict, she is shooting a film with Dustin Hoffman for 10 days and because she didn't ask permission of the Twilight people they have kicked her off the film.
She's come out and said that. And that it would have 0 conflict with Twilight.
They've responded by saying they find her statement 'dissappointing'.

#5 - Gee, a little sensitive, aren't we? So do you have all the "High School Musical" DVDs? Do you TOTALLY crush on the Jonas Brothers? Golly.
There is something that particularly bugged me about Spiderman 3 (besides all the crying) - Kirsten Dunst is a blonde in real life, and they dyed her hair red - Bryce is a gorgeous redhead in real life, and they dyed her hair blonde. YES, I know this conforms to the Watson/Stacey characters, but sheesh. They should've just casted Howard as MJ to begin with - and not the Ferengi.

I don't believe anything about the whole schedule conflict,Rob Pattison aka Edward Cullen was doing a movie while also in Eclipse,so how is it not ok for Rachelle to do another role,they just wanted an excuse to fire her,try to have us against her,not going to happen,they were very unprofessional,they were very fast on finding a replacement which only means they already planned it,Bryce realized Twilights fame and wanted it,or they wanted to have her daddy work with them on another project,I will not be watching any of Summits films including Twilight,New Moon was disappointing,except my fav scenes was with Rachelle aka the real and true Victoria.Seen Bryce act,not impressed at all,Rachelle didn't even have to speak in the role,the way her eyes looked preditorial and her poisture the way she walked and stand,it was amazing.

Wow - you guys really need to relax. So she got replaced - big deal. If you want to work in show Biz you gotta roll with the punches. I'm sure that Eclipse will do just fine without her.
