Clad in leather and Amy Adams wig and standing on a crate, Scarlett Johansson appears alongside RDJ and Mickey Rourke on the cover of this week's Entertainment Weekly, and the magazine has posted this low-res first look at Johansson in costume as the impractically conspicuous Russian spy, Black Widow.
Inside the issue, Rourke explains how he made sure his character wouldn't be a flat, boring villain. By requesting he have a bird, obviously:
I told Favreau, 'I don't want to just play him as a one-dimensional p----,'" he says. "He let me have a cockatoo, who I talk to and get drunk with while I’m making my suit."
Nothing adds depth to an antagonist like an avian sidekick. There's a reason Jafar from Aladdin is probably our most complex and nuanced villain.

Is it just me or is Robert Downey Jr looking a little confused and bewildered?
Seems like a ward balloon is needed that says : " Hmm I wander which one of them is touching my ass."

Yep, you're right about Downey's expression.
I can't say I'm that excited about Scarlett. For a long time now, she's just looked like a painted porcelain doll (see the pic on the EW site). I miss the supercute Scarlett from Lost in Translation. She actually looked like a real girl.

I don't quite understand how they're going to swing the whole "Russian Spy" thing. I mean, what the fuck is Russia going to do with Ironman suits? Invade Georgia again?

Scarlett looks good. I'm super excited for this movie. The Rourke thing is pretty funny but I'm hoping it's a joke. Sounds pretty corny. I know Favreau will do what's right though so I'm not worried.

I might see the movie just to see Scarlett Johanson in black tights. She is definitely my favorite sexy star girl.
I enjoyed the last Iron Man. Hopefully this one will be comparable. I'm not going to prejudge.

I thought Scarlett Johanson's career would be better that it has been. Hopefully this will give her a boost.
The other two stars have rebounded from their troubled careers.
