Jul 23 2009'2012' One-Sheet Guarantees Sinking Landmasses!
Finally, a movie involving a global catastrophe of some nature! I was getting worried I'd have to go back to the first half of the decade, or to NBC's recent television event Meteor, starring Christopher Lloyd and Seinfeld's Jason Alexander, to see fictional disasters happening. But no, there's also this.

i saw the meteor movie. it sucked! Christopher Lloyd gets killed about 5 minutes into it (spoiler alert). Jason Alexander overacts but he does get a pretty good death scene (spoiler alert). Ernie Hudson was his usual solid self. If not for super cutie Marla Sokoloff, this movie would have been unwatchable.

Idea for an end of times disaster movie, "The Day After Tomorrow The Earth Stood Still: 2012" starring Jake Gyllenhaal, KEANU, and Darren Daulton: http://i31.tinypic.com/25zmakw.jpg

Saw the trailer for this at the movie theater before 'Transformers.' Bunch a little kids in the crowd and the whole world is ending, the frigging USS some-president's name carrier slams into the White House, and the whole audience is quiet, wondering what the fuck is this fucking movie about?
Trailers can make a break a film and by the looks of it, this film sucks donkey dicks.

LOL. What I like about this poster is that it's assuming that the city is sitting on a bed of water and that the disaster ultimately does is have 1/2 of Los Angeles break apart and sink... underwater.

@9 what i like about your comment is that your assuming that this movie needs to be taken seriously. Seeing it break in half is more exciting than seeing it just crumble and sink..
Movie still is going to suck though...
