Jun 12 2009'Zombieland' Photos: Duck, I'm Going to Hit this Zombie with a Bat

I'm pretty sure Shaun of the Dead has forever won the genre, but if you're interested in giving more zombie comedy a try, AICN has some shots from Ruben Fleischer's Zombieland, starring Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin.

In the above shot, is that Curb Your Enthusiasm's Jeff Garlin? Supposedly there's also a brief cameo involving a zombie Bill Murray, so I'm thinking maybe there's a subplot where the zombies find a Second City Rolodex and strategically hunt down alumni. These zombies specifically want brains capable of humorously improvising a series of thematically-related scenes.

Shaun, dammit! SHAUN of the dead! not Shawn. For shame movie blog writing guy, this is why the superficial writer and the geekologie writer never invite you to their hijinks

-1 for Shawn, +5 for Second City reference.

Whups! Daddy messed up! I fixed it now.

Little Miss Sunshine + The Evil Dead?

Sign me up.

It will be hard to top Sean of the Dead! That movie was excellent!

The game takes less than 5 minutes to play!

Not going to top "Shaun of the Dead."

I guess Chris Farley is likely to make a cameo then

@7 Too soon!

Is it possible to kill zombies?

Ouch, #7. That totally interrupted my yawn with a stifled, 'Ifeelbadforfindingthatfunny' scoff.

looks good

Awesome zombie comedy movie that's out NOW instead of later: "Fido."

Trust me.

I enjoyed Shaun of the Dead but seriously there are other enjoyable funny zombie movies out there. #12 is absolutely right, Fido is one that should never be missed as well as Dead Snow. I can't wait for Zombieland, I'm eager for something new and excessively gory. Woot!

HOT DAMN THESE A GOOD MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This movie was friggin great!! NOT AS STUPID AS SHAUN OF THE DEAD! that movie f^^ckin sucked!!
