@Mari: I may just be playing devil's advocate here, but wasn't he cleared of all charges in a court of law? If that's not enough to clear a man's name, then what is? How would you like it if someone falsely accused you of rape, you fought to clear a conviction, but everybody still thought you were a rapist for the rest of your life? Kind of defeats the idea of "innocent until proven guilty" doesn't it?

In 1993 child sexual abuse accusations against Michael Jackson were brought up

because the father of the kid was jealous of Michael because he was very close to

the "FAMILY". The father just wanted money. when the father was asked how this would

affect his son, he said, "That's irrelevant to me...It will be a massacre if I don't

get what I want. It's going to be bigger than all us put together...This man

[Jackson] is going to be humiliated beyond belief...He will not sell one more

record"

On August 18, the Los Angeles Police Department's Sexually Exploited Child Unit

began a criminal investigation into Jackson. The same day, Jordan Chandler's mother

told police that she did not believe Jackson had molested her son.On August 21, a

search warrant was issued, allowing police to search Jackson's Neverland Ranch.

Police questioned 30 children who were friends of Jackson, with all denying that the

singer was a child molester.A police officer involved in the investigation told The

Los Angeles Times that no evidence (medical, photographic or video) could be found

that would support a criminal filing

California v. Michael Joseph Jackson was a 2005 child sexual abuse trial. The boy

was 13 years old at the time of the alleged crimes.

The boy and Jackson testified that they had slept in the same room, but not in the

same bed. They also agreed that each had offered to sleep on the floor and let the

other have the bed. Jackson stated in a documentary that many children, including

Macaulay Culkin, his younger brother Kieran, and his sisters had slept in Jackson's

bed; all said that nothing inappropriate occurred.

Responding to criticisms of the broadcast, Santa Barbara County District Attorney

Thomas W. Sneddon Jr. stated that, under California law, the distinction was

irrelevant. An adult sleeping in the same bed as a child is not a criminal offense,

unless "affirmative, offensive conduct" occurs.

Were the fuck in any of that do you find rape. I'm not saying he wasn't REALLY WEIRD

There is the man (private), there is the artist (public).

I personnaly wasn't keen on MJ - the man - even during my teen years (always preferred Prince), but i have to admit that the artist was the best entertainer of the 80/early 90's era and one of the best musicians in the mainstream ($$$) arena.

Blame him if you want, he REALLY does not care anymore - but do not forget the Jacksons Family, the management, the court of the "King", Their responsability in what happened.

Even in death people still have bad things to say. Cant we accept and move on he lived his life not pleasing to most of us, but it was his life and his journey now it's over let him go and rest in peace.
