It really does look like someone saw Halo and thought - Hmmm, GI Joe + Halo should work. I saw the preview and all I could think of was Samuel L. Jackson's voice in The Incredibles - Wheeere's My Super Suit?!?

Why is Eddie Murphy in this movie? Better yet, why does Eddie Murphy have an accent? I bet that character has to go undercover as a stereotype, to gain the trust of Cobra. Of course, he'll lose that trust when his soldier rival spills his secret. The only thing I can't figure out is what embarrassing act he'll have to do in front of an approving crowd to gain back the trust. Read lines from Norbit 2? Read lines from Imagine This, the inevitable prequel to Imagine That? These are both equally possible options...
