May 4 2009Brad Pitt is a 'Basterd' (Not a Glourious One)

AICN put up this character poster from Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds, and it got me thinking: are you allowed to say "bastards," even misspelled, in advertisements? It seems like there will inevitably be some complaints from the crazies. Not to mention Walmart. Walmart is never going to sell a movie called Inglourious Basterds. They're going to have to put the DVD in some special Walmart sleeve, re-label it Pitt and Pals, and add the warning: "Some sequences depict characters born of unwed parents that do not necessarily feel His glory."

If it read "Bass Turd" it would be more believable.

And a complete douche. I wish he would freak out and kill angelina and all those little monkey kids.

bad ass

damn you Anexio! I've had that in my head since last night- how dare you steal my witty response! *mumble...*

I don't know if this is a stupid question everyone knows the answer to already...

But what's with the stitches on Brad Pitt's throat? Is his character undead or something?

@6 His character's throat was slashed by Germans(?) I guess it makes him look like a badass.. but his accents are horrible so there's no raspy-ness in his voice

Looks more like a rope burn to be. They probably attempted to hang him, but he survived, ergo, no raspiness.

Jewish Barbarism: The Movie

It is a rope burn, but as far as I understand they aren't even really going to address it in the movie. If you want to see a movie that addresses rope burn scars, I recommend "Hang 'em High".

At Target Zack and Mira make a porno is simply labeled "Zack and Mira".

My God, he looks retarded.

I'm surprised Wal-Mart promoted AC/DC. Mom told me they're scary devil worshiper people!

I hope Brad Pitt doesn't completely ruin this movie. He can do that quite effortlessly, you know.

The rope burn on his neck was common with hangings that failed. The rope might have broken or something else. Read a 1920's book called "A Handbook On Hanging."
