Start making your checklists early: Dreamworks/Paramount has released the official list of robo-characters in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. You'll probably notice that Megatron, who has been rumored to return since the moment after his defeat in the first film, is conspicuously absent from the Decepticon line-up, while on the Autobot side, a pants-pooping-themed pair has been added.
My Transformer memory is really fuzzy from all these years of not playing with Transformers, so you guys will have to tell me, are there any other characters whose inclusion/disclusion is disappointing? Personally, I'd have like to see my childhood favorite Rad make the cut, even though my sole reason for liking him so much was that his name was Rad.

I have reservations of a movie that have ANY character with the name "Skids" "Mudflap" and "Mix Master"

Well, I think "The Fallen" could be a resurrected Megatron in the vein of Galvatron. It would be certainly edgier to have a "leader from the dead gone mad" element to it. I wonder if Nimoy is attached to this?

I thought the same as Penchant -- I guess Megatron "fell" in the first one. I certainly don't remember any transformer named "The Fallen" from my childhood, though things started getting a bit hazy after the Transformers animated movie...
I must add that 90% of my enjoyment of this movie will be based on whether or not they totally screw up Soundwave.

"The Fallen" is not Megatron...he is one of the oringinal Cybertronians who worked for Unicron...and yes Scorpanok was a Beast Master but he appeared in the original film...rumor has it that he gives up his spark to resurrect Megatron -- so yes, Megatron IS in the movie but probably one of those "HOLY F**K MEGATRON IS BACK" moments...

Megatron is in this movie, Bay's finally admitted it. I don't get that about Wheelie either. He was a tiny Autobot.

I think this is just one of those false info things that Bay is so fond of.
Some of it's obvioulsy correct but I'm thinking they left off a couple names and switched a few Autobots and Decepticons around putting them on the wrong list. Just to eff with people.
I'm looking forward to it regardless of what I hear before hand. Unless Optimus and Arcee hook up or something. That I can do with out....Any two transformers have a love scene and I'm not going to be too happy. Maybe a flash back to Optimus and Alita-1 saying good by to each other but I think that's about all I could tolerate.

Hey you are missing the GOOD point... RAVAGE is in this one! (my fav) what is cool is he was a decepticon, and then went rogue. Beast Wars he was a autobot / Robot for hire.

Scorponok was introduced with the Headmasters toyline. I think that's Generation 3 in terms of the TV series. He was the direct mirror to Metroplex. Both of them could transform into cities.
In the Beast Wars, he was devolved to the level of an ineffectual idiot.
In Other News: How much y'all wanna bet, Michael Bay will crank up the cheese factor by having Arcee compete with Megan Fox's character for Spike's affections and get Steve Tyler to make a shitty rock song about loving a toaster.
(After all, it is sort of implied in the cartoon series that Spike's own son Daniel had something going on with Arcee)

fav transformer episode is when jetfire gets da crap kicked out of him by Kickback from the insecticons and he's unable to transform in his plane form, classic...
..how the hell are they talking cars in the autobot line up and sunstreak isnt there...?

In the 1st movie.. they had that random made up faggot tank named 'devastator' now they are actually showing the real devastator as constructicons united? Wow Michael Bay.. You got it right this time.. Oh wait, maybe Jetfire in this one will be a Saturn V rocket or something and not the actual plane used in the toys and carton series. FAILURE always is unavoidable when you let some jackass make a movie who knows nothing about the original story. Lets hope this one is better than the 1st.

Thats the list, except for Megatron and the Ice cream truck.
The names line up with the toys and cars seen.
Megatron will be rez'd by someone, he will be stronger than ever. He will seek Revenge on Sam directly, The Doctor/Scalpel is a small decepticon who likes to dissect things and is about to get to work on sam , Prime storms in and at that classic critical moment He will end up dying saving Sam.
The Fallen is someone else. Probably just like Tarantulas from Beast wars, he hates all Cybertronians who come from ...the Allspark and not Unicron. If its not that deep the moral still ends up being kill all bots that aren't him then starscream turns him towards the Autobots.
Bay has said Skids and Mudflap are his addition, so bet your life savings they are going to provide the worst jokes known to humanity thus far, and 'ruin' the movie. Plus theyre Ugly. Even with these new super-ugly transformers standards they're Smug Pugsly
Anyone who doesnt like Arcee doesnt have to worry, she is going to die, sustaining my theory that Bay can't see women as heroes.
Expect the Autobots to get their asses kicked better than last time, except maybe Sideswipe who'll probably turn out to be Sideways brother and half decepticon or something just as stupid.
