Apr 10 2009'They Came from Upstairs' Trailer ('They' are ALIENS!)

Why does a Kevin Nealon/Ashley Tisdale/Everybody Loves Raymond Grandma-starring sci-fi family comedy accurately recreate the action of Street Fighter far better than any film that actually had Street Fighter in its title? I don't know, but it does:

Anyone else think that the CGI alien throwing down the translation guide is the best acting in this film? I don't even mean that as an attack on High School Musical, ELR Grandma, or the kid who looks like he's from Funny Games; I just genuinely believe the alien's frustration there.

All in all, looks like a respectable enough edition to the genre. At least as good as Coneheads or Suburban Commando.

WHO MADE THIS CRAP

WOW! This looks crap! The crapiest crap of the year... or the decade

qwuhdiulshfajksdhasjdhasdjh ahahahahahhhahaahahahahaha thank you for that laugh. I'm so baked right now~

Gag me with a fucking rake....

The sad part is...

It will make money.

I feel like Small Soldiers fits into the category as well.

Ashley Tisdale's rack looks pretty nice at 00:59.

Nice call with Suburban Commando

actually the street fighter action sequence with the granny from everyone loves raymond just might make this film worth view when it comes out on TBS

this is the type of stuff, that makes you wonder what kind of contacts do you need to be able to blow so much time, money, and effort into a peice of shit like this!

THIS

Any movie with shinryuken is a movie I want to see.

"This is so not happening."

Exactly.

Honestly, if they wanted to make a comedy about mind-control devices, why did they bother throwing in some shitty-looking aliens?

Also, I think I've noticed a trend: the more idiotic the comedy, the greater the likelihood that the promotional material will feature red block letters on a white background. It's like the advertisers are secretly hinting to us, "Skip it."

Oh yeah, I hate to be that guy, but it's "addition," not "edition."

"Gremlins-meets-Goonies-meets HSM! We're gonna be rich!"

CUT TO: Mom's Basement, three years later - a lonely body swings from a rope...

And bad, genre-based, b-rated filmmaking claims another life.
