She seems like a pretty good actor. The movie also sounds really interesting. I hope that things go well for her. Have any porn actors actually made it to mainstream yet?

I've seen her stuff... its alright, she's a bit too thin and flat chested for my tastes, but she's got good charisma and a pretty face.
as far as mainstream, I don't know if she'll make it or not. There have been a couple that crossed over into mainstream but very few and none that ever really became big stars.

Wow, that was really interesting. And by interesting I mean incredibly boring. It's as if Steven Soderbergh's talent has that Benjamin Button disease; every movie gets more and more juvenile than the last. I'm sorry, "A Stripper with a Heart of Gold" story? This is what every student filmmaker wants to shoot his freshman year.

...ok, it rhymed. I appreciate what she's doing as a person in representing her form of sexuality. For me, however, Soderbergh's work is lumped in with Spielberg and Bay. It's just my personal opinion that it's boring because it's boring not because it's thought provoking. If I watch this, it will be for Sasha Grey only.

I hope that this film encourages more pornstar to go mainstream like Jenna Haze. And I hope that this film encourages more mainstream actresses to go to porn like Lindsay Lohan.

Reminds me of a indie movie version of Secret Diary of a Call Girl, and their episode about the girlfriend experience. Actually a lot of the lines that the girl uttered are only a slightly different variation on what Belle says throughout the series

I am such a fan of hers! Sasha Grey is one smart girl. I hope one day she actually wins an award for acting. Love her! The girls from The Hills and other shows like that should be doing porn...well, Kardashian and Hilton already started the sex-tape trend, lol!!!

White: That's retarded, there are plenty of adult stars that have made it mainstream. Jenna Jameson, albeit a shitty mainstream career, is just one of them.
By far the most well known starlet to make it mainstream is Traci Lords. She started porn when she was underage for christ sake, and now she's been in several big budget movies, as well as tons of TV shows.

Don't think so, but this will start a trend, more porn chicks doing mainstream. But lets be real. 80% of men have seen porn on the internet, I have seen her youtube vids, she seems smart, but cant be that bright, she has gotten 1 STD's for her work. I feel kinda bad for her, she getting used by the porn, now mainstream industry. I dunno, I feel the same way about this as I did Short-bus.... kinda lame.

Jayden James did try to go mainstream, her attempts to be a real actress were chronicled on an episode of "True Life" on MTV.
She didn't get the part she tried out for, but for what it's worth she was a very likeable person and I was rooting for her.
