Apr 27 2009'Partly Cloudy' Shots: What, You Didn't Know Baby Delivery Storks and Cloud Men Hung Out?

Judging by this gallery of stills from Partly Cloudy (thanks Flex), looks like Pixar has decided to walk straight out of the WALL-E/Johnny 5 controversy into a Cloud Guy/Mr. Bubble-Ziggy-Blobfish scandal. If only Buddy Hackett were still with us to provide the voice.

Looks more like the abominable snowman from the stop-motion Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer... the humble bumble

Blob fish??? is that thing real?! *hwarf*

At first, I thought you were abbreviating "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" as "Partly Cloudy". I was really confused as to what the stork and cloud had to do with the premise of that movie.

Now that I've figured that out, I'm a little more confused by the fact that we have two CGI movies in development at the same time that have "Cloudy" in the title.

Is it me or do the eyes of the clouds look way to simplistic compared to the rest of the CGI of the cloud, stork and scene? They just look out of place to me.

#4,
I thought the eyes looked weird on Cars too but ended up not thinking about them once I started watching the show. At this point, Pixar could make a show about dust collecting on a shelf and I am sure it would be amazing.

Is this a full length feature or a short?

Oh. It's the short before Up. Nevermind. Shoulda read the next few posts eh?

Good point.

#2 I couldn't believe it either!!!!!

wow;;

i personally thought this was one of the better shorts. it also fit the movie well. me, forgetting that Pixar did shorts on the way into the movie, i thought this was the movie "Up." it was definitely a good one [:
