Illegal Movie File Now Available on Internet

I avoided posting this yesterday a) for April Fool's validity concerns, and b) because I don't understand how legal things work, but if you didn't hear yet, apparently a workprint of a certain movie about a magical human with metal claw hands has leaked online. Thus, if you're determined and understand how to torrent things, you can download an unfinished copy of Wolverine. Though if you understand how to torrent things, you've also probably realized that you can download completely finished copies of nearly every other movie ever, so this news really isn't that exciting.

So, I'm not going to be the morality police here. And I also won't be the actual police, who are far more concerned with piracy than these fictional morality police. If you want to get an illegal copy of an early cut of a movie, go right ahead. But if you do watch it, don't come over here with your spoilers. I'm waiting for Wolverine to arrive, legally, in theaters. Then I'll most likely wait for it to leave theaters, play on all the premium cable channels, come to DVD, and finally end up highly-edited on TBS before I watch it.

If something seems too good, or at least too bizarrely out-of-character, to be true, that's sometimes because it's totally not true anymore. As such: Darren Aronofsky isn't going to do that Wolverine movie after all. The Black Swan director, who was to hoist the Wolverine fran... / Continue →
