Mar 26 2009Where's the Poster Magic, Harry Potter?

harry-potter-6-char-posters.jpg

Harry Potter, you are getting boring. Remember how exciting your posters used to be? Look at the Sorcerer's Stone one. Those were the glory days. You got this nice painting with an owl, a castle, a little gremlin transcriber, a wizard, beard guy, some kids on flying broomsticks, and you were decent enough to PUT ON A TIE. When you said, "Let the magic begin," I said, "What time? I'll make sure to pick-up some wine."

Now you're just standing around a filthy subway station, brooding in your Arizona jeans. Step it up, HP. When you're the king, everyone's coming at your crown.

More new character posters, including redhead kid, girl, and white-hair kid, here.

frist?

looks like a... subway in the back? I can't remember any train scenes from the book...

What I don't get is why are they all standing in front of the Movie Title. They are blocking a good portion of the title. I know that we all know what the title of the movie is, but to be quite honest I find it rather dissapointing that they allowed it to go out like that. Typically isn't the title on a poster usually supposed to be clearly seen and pop out at you so that you remember it. so... "Hey guys I just saw a poster and I'm gonna go see Harry -otter E F-Bloo Rince" ....yeah...

When did Harry and the gang join the X-Men?

Did they rename it to Harry Otter e F-Bloo Rince? Incredible. What's the next one going to be, Harry Otter e Y Allows?

Anyone that actually watches or cares about this crap is F**king gay.

simply bad graphic design. simply.

Arizona jeans, for sure. Replace the Harry Potter logo with J.C. Penney and it would make a nice ad for their back-to-school catalog.

Is F-Bloo Rince going to be a Daniel Radcliffe bio-flick?

Also I don't like the way he's all uppity in that subway location. He better not be up to anything funny.

shut up fag! I like the new "Jason Born" HP posters.

I like the girl one. I'd like to see her wearing an invisible cloak...provided the cloak doesn't also make her invisible, that is.

I think this poster needs more horse, and penis, yeah, more horse and penis. Oh wait, he did that one already?

Okay, "Angry boy/man and the EFBlooRince" it is I guess.

I'm an open minded girl! I like strong guys. Do you want to date with me? Do you want to have a sexy night? If so, please join in www.seekbi.comy !!!

Sequels can get boring at times. But yeah, with these posters I dunno if they are commercial models for wands and broom.

The characters just don't work anymore. The white-haired one looks about 30 and do you think JK intended Hermione to turn out so hot?

You know, you're absolutely right. This poster is for shit.

I think the reason the "white-haired one" looks old in because he has aged slightly due to being tormented by Voldemort, and not getting enough sleep because he thinks he's going to be killed.

And actually, I do think JK intended Hermione to grow up to be attractive. In the 4th book her large front teeth get shrunken by the nurse after a jinx meant for harry hit her and caused her teeth to grow even larger. After that she is regarded as being much prettier. Although her hair is under much more control in the movie posters than I would have expected. She is always described as having "bushy" hair in the books. But who really cares man. It's Hollywood. Of course the characters are going to be hot. That's what Hollywood does.

I love HARRY POTTER he look handsome, clever, rich ... famous HARRY POTTER !!
