Mar 19 2009'Up' Opening Cannes

Pixar's old-guy-traveling-with-a-fat-boy-and-his-house film, Up will be opening the 62nd Cannes Film Festival, Variety reports. There, the audience will recognize the picture as a flowing, contemplative, utterly charming commentary on finding meaning in sedentary, octogenarian life, and as a metaphor for impotence.
