Mar 3 2009'TR2N' Probably Not Called 'TR2N' Anymore, Has Awesome Fight
If you love the Tron sequel spoilers, AICN has new information on what Jeff Bridges and his son are doing in the CLU with the MCP cones and whatever. But if you're like me, less thirsty for general TR2N news, mostly just interested in why anyone would see fit to name a movie TR2N and if there are any light jet versus light cycle battles, here's the news on that front:
1. Seeing that every human thinks TR2N is a stupid and unpronounceable title, Disney has reportedly decided against it, and will likely be going with the popular format of [Old Movie's Title]: [Some Sort of Subtitle]. I stand by my suggestion of inTRONet.
2. There will be a light jet/light cycle battle, which sounds incredible.
That's all you need to know. For now.

Way to jump the shark Disney... its stupid, but TR2N had some integrity at this point, like all George Lucas' dumb titles; I could respect sticking to their guns despite how idiotic it sounded. Until I heard about the LIGHT JETS! Then I shat my panties.

What about "The TRONinator"? or "TRONinator 2: Judgement Day" (following the standard pattern as outlined by IWS writer).
"TRON and TRONer"
"TRONhundred" (have to get the director, though)
"TRON 2: TRON Harder"
or if they really want to knock it out of the park...
"TRON vs Alien vs Predator"

Tron is pretty corny, but is a very happy memory from my early years of being a nerdling. I was equally infatuated with the video games that came out during the time (the black lights coming from the game cabinets would light up your clothes like in the movie).
I really hope Disney can re-capture what made the original movie very fun (and maybe trade in more "cool" for corniness). And I hope the video games that are attached will be worth our time, instead of some cheap liscensed piece of shit (really, can anyone name a decent movie-liscensed video game?)
