In the vein as Wes Anderson's American Express commercial, Sofia Coppola has made an ad for Dior that may wander even farther into the realm of hilarious self-parody:
Gazing out the window of a moving vehicle, wandering around a hotel room, being fitted for a dress, twirling to collapse onto a bed--all pitch perfect! If I had to nitpick, I'd say maybe she could have set the whole thing to a My Bloody Valentine song, but still, great work.
(Note: my mockery in no way negates my love for Lost in Translation or my desire to kiss Ms. Coppola.)
