Mar 23 2009New 'Astro Boy' Promo Art: IS THIS HIS ASTRO SOUL?
I know next to nothing about the Astro Boy character, but if the time ever comes that we decide we've entrusted too much power in the body of a child, and we have to take him out, let's all shoot at that glowing mass in his chest. Everything I know about weak points tells me that's his weak point. Let's just hope it never comes to that.

The beauty of astro boy is that it's sufficiently infused with 70s cheese to be appealing to nearly anyone, but the stories are typically mature enough to be watchable. I hope he throws in his entire cast of characters. I can't wait to see Dr. Tenma, Duke Red, Drake, etc in real life.
The weak point is called the Omega Factor, and while your reasoning is sound, the Omega Factor is actually a limitless source of power or something? Yeah, it's not really sniper fare.

All I know about Astro Boy is that he's one of the silliest (read: most retarded) looking things in the known universe, and the fact that he's popular enough for a movie about him to exist is... confusing (read: depressing), to say the least.

Nice movie poster I love it! A classic manga series in the 80's. Now in digital animation with an all star cast like Nicolas cage as dr tenma and upcoming young actor Freddie Highmore as astro boy. A new movie that is worth waiting...
