Summer of 2011 is going to be so superhero movie rich. I'm barely going to have time to catch waves, work at the local ice cream parlor, and fall in and out of love with a girl I meet at summer camp with all this nerd shit I have to do.

I look forward to Iron Man 2. Now that we've got that whole "creating the hero" plot out of the way, I expect to see more explosions and Iron Man-style beatings.
If Spider-Man 4 is going to be anything like the 3rd one I'll personally be keeping clear. They will really need to sell me with the trailers.
Thor shouldn't have any "creating the hero" seeing that he's Thor so I'll be expecting much Thor-style beatings right off the bat.
Captain America... might be cool. If they have Red Skull, I'll see it.
If all above movies are actually absolutely awesome then I'm definately sold on the Avengers movie.

Here's a new concept for the Spider-Man 4 movie... we have Peter Parker... man the fuck up, act like he has a pair, and not cry every time some bad shit happens! He can brood, bitch & whine, heck he can even curl up beside Aunt May & have some hot coco, but just let him beat the crap out of a decent Spidy villain while holding on to some ounce of self respect! No crying (blubbering w/ snot bubbles), no dance scenes, & maybe, just maybe have him except and kinda like being Spider-Man. Just saying it would be cool to see that at least in one movie before the franchise goes the way of the Schumacher Bat-man.

i hope they reboot the spider-man franchise, and make it kind-of-dark. like Iron Man dark. I hope captain america is darker than the original captain america as well. and thor should be dark too, especially since the guy playing him looks like a heroin addict. i hope the avengers is dark too, in a dark-superhero-comic-movie kind of way

I just pray that the immenent disasters to this planet in 2012 happen at the earliest June 2012 - otherwise I'll die without the closure of Avengers, and my life as a geek will have been a waste.
