Mar 11 2009Josh Hartnett Might be the God of Mischief

josh-hartnett.jpg

Following up yesterday's news that an extremely Thor-like guy might be in the running for the lead in Kenneth Branagh's Thor, IESB is reporting Josh Hartnett is on the short list of actors to play the Norse hero's arch-villain Loki. Personally, I saw Hartnett more in the role of Thor's professorial sidekick Dr. Squintz, but I guess this could work if he can figure out a way to make his wooden, GQ staring seem mischievous.

(Update: For some reason, yes, I originally wrote "Harnett" several times. The issue has been corrected.)

Come on Ultimates...

Hey me, what about *me*?

Even on his 80th birthday this man will still look 16 years old.

I can see what you mean by 'wooden', but I think whatever odd character killing babble you've come up with to take H3arTnett down is merely an attempt to label him with the sort of pasty-faced ineptitude exhibit by your average modern Keanuesque actors.

Seriously though that' s a typo in tonight's headliner, though,

you are so great!!! You guys should have a check " R i c h S i n g l e . N e t " if you are interested in wealthy men and sexy woman!!! You will be satisified!!!!!!

Loki's supposed to be kind of evil in the myths, not a little sprite running around pranking people. Why anyone translates him as the god of mischief baffles me.

It's HarTnett. C'mon, you're in the business of blogging about movies and celebs. You should know this.

@5

That was a pretty good post. You made me laugh on the inside.
