Feb 17 2009'Wolverine' on the Television, Part 2
Last night, Fox ran the second in its three-part series of Wolverine clips, and now a few hundred-thousand households are even more confused about 'That X-Man with the Claws.' "So he was born with bone claws, is brothers with the guy from Scream, and was in every U.S. battle since the Civil War? Which one was Professor X then?"

Good to see that they DID keep the "Silver fox gets raped/killed by Sabretooth and tearfully buried by a cabin in the woods so Logan can vow revenge" plotline that's worked the last 27 times Marvel used it.
This preview looks better than the first one, but still..."better" is relative. "Better" than horrible is still pretty awful.

Okay, I'm going to stir up this "bone claws" debate yet again (this never gets tired).
When Wolverine originally appeared (in a Hulk issue), his "claws" weren't even embedded in his hands. The claws were actually attached to his gloves.
Whether or not these claws had bone inside, that is a matter of debate...

No, no, no, HERE's the deal: when Daredevil FIRST appeared, he had a yellow and red costume and his "billy club" looked more like a short cane. The red suit came later.
(sorry, just so bored of the claw thing now)

Ofcourse he was born with bone claws because which living creature get born with metal claws? On the other hand which human get born with giant retractable claws anyway? He's a mutant but it's still confusing.

The most confusing thing to me is this. How is it possible that he doesn't cut himself every time he retracts his razor sharp claws?

GOD DAMN IT DARTH!
Wolverine has SUPER HUMAN healing powers because he's a mutant. He can, like, heal SUPER fast, like an animal, because he's supposed to be like, part wolverine and part human (Logan). That's why when he's not wearing his X-Suit everyone calls him Logan, and when he is they call him Wolverine, because the suit gives him, like, extra animal powers.
I'm still confused about the claws though, if he can only bring them out when he has the suit on, how come he has them out when he's a kid, and they're made of bone?

Maybe he does get cut but he heals so fast it doesn't matter. Wolverine's mutant power is his body's ability to heal. Which also explains why he is as old as he is because his body keeps regenerating.
Wolverine's claws were never "attached" to his gloves. His gloves had openings for the claws to come out. (the gloves are usually drawn with a metal receptacle where the claws come out which are indeed part of the glove, but not part of his claws)

If you recall from the previous x-men movies, he was able to use his claws without a suit. (ex: when the soldiers invaded Xavier's school and he was in the kitchen with iceman).
His adamantium skeleton is wrapped around his existing bones, his claws being one of them.
I kinda wish they started the series from the actual beginning with Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Iceman, Angel, and Beast. If they started from there, there are a ton of stories that can be told as the team progesses. X-Men Annual #1 would be a cool movie to introduce the newer team (Storm, Colossus, Wolverine, Banshee, etc...) They could've did a crossover introducing Wolverine in a Hulk movie before coming out with the Xmen...
Oh well...

In the WOLVERINE ORIGIN comic it explains almost every thing about him.
He's wayyyyyyy older the Xavier. That's why you seen him in all those wars!
His family has the same "Claws".
There more but hey....
