Feb 4 2009Superman Says 'Scott Pilgrim' Partially Animated
All sensible people are eagerly anticipating Edgar Wright's adaptation of Scott Pilgrim, so you'll love adding this bit of information to your copybooks: Brandon Routh, who's playing one of the evil boyfriends, told Collider the film will be a mixture of live-action and drawn animation. Like Cool World! Or maybe nothing at all like Cool World. Who can say what will or will not be like Cool World? If you can, please do so in the comments.

in super excited and def going to the auditions for extras!

It's so disappointing when Holli gets her wish and then turns into Kim Bassinger... and then I realize I feel a little bit weird about having just watched a movie where a guy has sex with a cartoon, but then okay again because Brad Pitt is in it and he's a sort of normal character. I hope to never watch Cool World again.

Tank Girl tried this animation/live action hybrid too. Tanked critically and at the box office (which I hope this does, considering the character summaries I read here not long ago), but is a cult classic now.

wow, based on the review at handsome genius club i'd say scott pilgrim sounds perfect for my narcissistic indie rock / anime / video game obsessed 16 year old cousin!
i.e. it sounds like one of the worst things ever.

nothing could ever or will ever be like Cool World! brad pitt couldn't even star in a Cool World remake and it even resemble the likes of Cool World.
