I'm actually excited for this movie, Origins was a nice series. The End on the other hand was flaming garbage.

what's his belt buckle supposed to be?
not that I was looking there... !

Hmmmm.....I've heard that all titles of movies released/advertised in france have to be either translated into french or incorporate at least one french word. Is "wolverine" the same in French or is that 'rule' just not true? I know france has some pretty strict laws to protect the purity of their language so it's not entirely unbelievable.

Also, orb205, I would have to agree; that is a completely terrible wolverine tattoo. In addition to looking like a pubescent sean penn with fake facial hair, he's scrawny as hell. I'm not a fan of drawing every comic book hero as though they're a lifelong roid-rager, but Wolvie should at least have more muscle than Michael Cera.

@5...In case you really didn't notice: It's an indian chief with feathers on his head

Is it me, or does his upper arm look abnormally veiny? And that part of his arm is the only thing with veins popping out. If he was yelling really loud like the picture implies, shouldn't he have some veins pooping out on his neck too? And if his upper arm is that veiny, shouldn't he have at least one vein popping out on his forearm? Maybe he has a blood clot in his upper arm. Did he get half a boner from screaming at the sky? Maybe Storm is flying around above him and he got a peek up her skirt. I don't blame him, I would look too. Did my post have anything useful to contribute? No, not likely.

le sexy.

He's angry because it hurts when he masturbates.

OK - in France :

For the comix, "Wolverine" is named as "Serval", it's a litteral translation originated from his first appearance in the 70's translated (and heavily censored, for your information) magazines we had in France at that time.*

But...

For the movies, from the 1st Bryan Singer, they kept the english name "Wolverine", more sexier i suppose - sounds more dangerous.

* Trivia : in the 70/80s, we had two publishers for the Marvel comics line here in France - Some series were published by one, some by the other. But they did not like each other, did not communicate at all (no continuity between the publications). The most important one renamed Wolvie "Serval", as i noticed above, for the X-Men and solo series. But the second translated him as "Le Glouton", for his episode with Hulk and the Wendigo (historically the very first appearance of Wolvie in a Marvel comic). "Glouton" and "Serval" are both French names for some similar animals. But "glouton", as you can imagine was a frankly funny and - to be honest - an overly ridiculous name for the Canadian supersoldier. Thanks God THIS publisher had not the X-men rights, hahah...

i'm confused...this comes out in april?...why is it coming out in the us in may?...

@ scottttttt: That's the time difference, fool.
