Feb 13 2009Destro Has Metal Head; Cobra Commander Has Glass, Tube-Covered Enclosure
Wasn't the rationale behind the Joe team all wearing black, uniform, plated armor that it would somehow be more realistic? I'm not sure how replacing Cobra Commander's hood with a pig-nosed glass helmet fits in with that. When did looking like you belong in the Star Wars cantina scene become the height of realism?
Then again, that Duke looks nothing like the buzz-cutted, cretinous head of Channing Tatum either, so maybe the packaging for squat, stylized, infant toys isn't the best way to evaluate a movie anyway.

I heard that in the comics, underneath Cobra Commander's metal helmet was bone. A bone helmet.

Like this is all like actionified, but moderinized. I'm so bummed that vin diesel, the rock, and john cena are NOT in this movie. Like WTF? the marine was so realistic.

I hope they show the Cobra Commander with the silver faced reflective battle mask ( or something close to it) at least once in the movie. As a kid that was always my favorite look, I hated the hooded mask.

Ripchord was white. If they wanted to use a black dude in the movie, why not Stalker? He was so bad ass. A fan should have made this movie. not a hack.
