A friend of mine saw this recently and said he liked it, though he would have liked it more not having seen clips of the freak battles in the trailer beforehand. But on the other hand, you should really see all the freak battles in this trailer. So it's your call (look at the freaks):
This is clearly the Watchmen of giant monster movies.

On a related note, the thing with the comb-over freaks me out every time in these trailers.

I love the full body tats - its an instant signifier that this is a douchebag giant monster fighter. Also glad that he carries a BIG STICK - give this Big Man a monacle and moustache and you got a Japanese Kaiju TEDDY ROOSEVELT!

More importantly, why is it using it as a weapon? Actually, I can understand that. If my penis were exceedingly large and prehensile, I would use it as a weapon, too.
Maybe I'd even use it to hold the knife while I butter my toast.

This movie has been out since, what, 2007? Did you guys watch the trailers? Good... that's all you really need. (well, maybe watch the end sequence with the superhero family) Seriously, the movie was a major disappointment.
