Feb 11 2009'Angels & Demons' Trailer: Tom Hanks Stops All This Branding/Drowning/Crucifying Nonsense
The Illuminati are out for revenge against the Catholic church, and there's only one man who can stop them: whoever the Tom Hanks character is! In Angels & Demons, Hanks uses the same skill set he used to decipher the Da Vinci Code (thought, sometimes running) to foil the enemies and learn something about Christian lore that your mom will mistake as fact.
From the looks of the trailer, they've added some underwater parts to make the video game better:
Girls looking for their dolls are better than bloodhounds when searching for corpses. That's what I learned. How about you?

If I'm not mistaken, and I feel I'm not, Angels and Demons' plot line was before The Davinci Code. I havent seen Davinci Code, maybe they've been changed up the order, but the books went Angels and Demons THEN The DaVinci Code

Ooooooooohhhh! It does look exciting. But yes, Angels and Demons is supposed to be BEFORE Da Vinci Code.. Wonder how they'll tie it all up...
It's all good in the neighborhood!

Yep, looks to be about the same level of suckery as the last one. (only Tom Hank's hair was much more voluminous in the last one)

Yes, Angels and Demons came before Da Vinci Code in the books. But aside from a throwaway line early in Da Vinci Code, there's basically nothing tying them together. Switching them around won't require any gymnastics.

Man WTF is up with Tom Hanks....everything he used to touch turned to gold and now the guy is doing films that only my 50 year old parents wanna see. I wish he would come out with a decent fucking role.

It's not about the Illuminati and the Catholic Church, it's about how Catholicism is super evil and corrupt.

First, Tom Hanks is Robert Langdon, just like in The Da Vinci Code, and every other Dan Brown novel.
Next, Angels & Demons is more about The Vatican and the politics involved in selecting the Pope than Catholicism in general. The Da Vinci Code's mantra was the evils of Catholicism.
I enjoyed Angels & Demons--the novel--a lot better than The Da Vinci Code. This should be a better movie...granted I still haven't seen all of The Da Vinci Code, I get so sleepy 30 minutes in to it.

Blair Witch 2 in a church?

I like Dan Brown's books, but they all shared a similar pattern.... what appeared to be a global-scaled conspiracy turned out to be perpetrated by a single individual... the rich guy in the Da Vinci Code, the new pope in Angel and Demons, and the FBI head in the Deception Point.
Kinda predictable...
