Jan 9 2009'Transformers 2' Poster: Ut Oh, Revenge!
Yahoo! Movies has posted the first teaser poster for Transformers 2, and it appears someone is out for revenge. It's that ribbed metal panel with the red eyes that looks like a boss from Contra--he/she is the one out for revenge.

Leveling the poster in photoshop reveals a lot more, albiet doesn't explain much more.

The image could be a bot that was not in the first movie with a back story that has not been told yet.
Looks like the Decepticon symbol which could be Soundwave.
The ribs seem to be reminiscent of an egyptian funeral mask.

Evil Robot Giving Birth... OUT OF ITS FACE!
Now that I realize I'm seeing the crown of some baby unicycle robot from Megatron's goddamn face-vagina, this has leapt straight to the top of the "horrific images burned into my retinas by Hollywood" category. I just hope Evil Robots don't have litters - otherwise I may throw up during this movie.

If you guys new anything about Transformers. The fallen was one of the original thirteen Transformers created by Primus, he betrayed his creator by siding with Unicron. In the final battle between Primus and Unicron, the Fallen and Unicron got sucked through a black hole into another dimension.
Obviously he must have found a way out and is looking for Revenge.
That's why the movie is called
Transformers: Revenge of THE FALLEN

"Revenge of the Fallen"
Why couldn't they just call it, "Transformers 2" ..?
The answer? When a story has no substance, you have to spend creative effort in advertising, demographics, marketing and what is left goes toward editing so you can have 10 identical trailers.
Why don't they just spend the money on something cool, instead of figuring a profit-margin for a movie they know will perform poorly? I suppose the producer will profit either way.. so nuts on the commoners, right?
