Jan 13 2009James Cameron Stands Around 'Avatar' Set

Hey, look at this latest shot from Avatar! It's not an actual shot from the movie, but until director James Cameron decides to start putting out legitimate looks at his big December 3-D sci-fi release, this is the best we've got.

Judging by this image, looks like the film will include the light from Dr. Strangelove's war room and some kind of Dr. Scholl's gel coffin. And James Cameron dresses like he's a BMX biker, maybe? He really needs to just release some images of the aliens.

re: Dr.Scholls comment: He's Gellin'

You win this round, Ted.... but you'll slip up... and when you do....

.

is this like the Nick cartoon Avitar??

To Elmo: No it's not there were several rumors (not sure if they were ever confirmed though) of a live action avatar the last airbender. This instead is set in outer space with Apa being the alien and Ang being the godly divine like figure while katara and the bald one search furiously for proof of the avatar...

I had forgotten about this. James Cameron and sci-fi ALWAYS sparks my interest. Especially when aliens are involved.

This movie is gonna be incredable and set the standards for movies to come. Cameron has never done wrong....Terminator 1 and 2, The Abyss, Aliens, Titantic...now this. Im almost positive this movie will follow the trend. I dont give a fuck if he doesnt release any actual "screenshots" of the film. Cameron, in my book, is a AAA director and can be as cocky as he wants.

Elmo...your a dork...quit comin on here TRYING to be funny....keyword TRYING. You can plainly SEE, unless your blind, that the picture has futuristic technology in it that definately wasnt present in Avatar: The last airbender....

Who names themselves after a shitty sesame street character anyway...

@8.... Seriously?

Sully....seriously? Yes....Seriously.... Monster Inc rip-off? Ok Elmo....
