Jan 26 2009'Green Hornet' Troubles!
Ut oh for The Green Hornet! HitFix is reporting that Seth Rogen's bewildering, chubbier take on the action hero is in trouble:
Ever since Stephen Chow started to waffle about his participation in the film, I've been hearing rumors that there were major hesitations at Sony. Then at Sundance, I heard several people say that the film was off completely. I spoke this afternoon with a source close to the film, and while they didn't call it completely dead, they did say it is "highly unlikely" that the film will shoot in 2009 at all.
Of course, the good news is this clears the way for a CGI/live-action hybrid version wherein Will Smith plays the voice of a CGI hornet fighting crime alongside his feline sidekick, Cat-O. That sounds more like the vision of the Green Hornet my mom wants to rent.

Neither deserve to be lumped in with Dane Cook, Spencer Pratt and Dick Cancer...

That being said, I wasn't looking forward to this movie at all...

Oh come on. Seth really isn't that bad. Don't hate on the guy for getting 12 movie roles every year. Jeez! Why you gotta be so cranky. You don't gotta watch if you hate him.
So who's on the Rogen bus? Yaaaaay!!!
I'd say way to go Seth, for making me laugh each time I see you in a movie.

They should rename it and rewrite the script.
"Green n' Horny" will be a teen comic romp about a group of FOBs that try to get it on in their new country with the local beauties.

yeah that vid really wasn't funny. I'm glad your high school chums finally learned how to use the white balance on your camcorder but that doesn't mean we want to see your stupid video about how a 14 year old put flour in his hair and pretended to be old while 3 people entered a wal-mart just because you watch way too much adult swim and think, "If it's weird it funny". But that's not the case. Sometimes it's just weird-and stupid.
Now Seth Rogen: he's very funny. Don't compare him to Dane Cook. That's just awful.

hmm. I gotta say I find seth rogen to be pretty funny and entertaining in some of his movies, maybe not all.
Apparently everyone hates dane cook though which i don't fully understand, granted his movies are awful ( all of them ) but I find some of the stand-up material funny. I guess I'm no comedic expert.

I agree that neither deserve to be lumped with Dane Cook. I wouldn't even put Rogen in the same group as Chow. For me, Chow is on the level where I will see anything where he is involved.

You don't need to be a comedic expert. If you think it's funny, then that is all that should matter. I don't agree with people who like Larry the Cable Guy but that doesn't make them wrong for it.
