Jan 6 2009Dwarfs Playing Basketball... with Dennis Rodman

minis-trailer.jpg

It looks like this already was released, so I guess I missed the boat on this one, but whatever. When I saw the plot description for this movie, I knew it had to be shared: "Dwarfs playing basketball... with Dennis Rodman." And understand, it's not Dennis Rodman playing a role; it's just dwarfs playing with Dennis Rodman, who is playing Dennis Rodman the basketball player.

So here's that:

It's weird how it's less insulting than any recent Mike Myers movie. By the end, when the Polyphonic Spree is in full swing, I'm almost convinced I'm watching a quirky indie dramedy with a message. But then I remember the dwarfs playing basketball... with Dennis Rodman.

FRITS!!!

I don't know... it's a Valerio Zanoli film, so it's gotta be good.... whoever that is.

FIRST! to not know who the hell Valerio Zanoli is.

also, why is Polyphonic Spree doing the soundtrack? I feel like they're too awesome for this movie

It must be a documentary because these people clearly aren't actors. I wonder if Dennis Rodman blinks at the beginning of all his sentences like in the trailer. Maybe that's how he mentally capitalizes the first letter like how some people move their lips when they read.

Polyphonic agreed to do this soundtrack as long as I'm From Barcelona agreed to do a "Dark Knight" type album and stop biting their shit.

He's so fucking old and diseased the only chance he has of winning a game of basketball is against dwarves.

First thought looking at this picture: "More bars in more places."

whos the worse actor (based on this clip alone) - dennis rodman or the asian reporter?

and yes, polyphonic spree is far too good for this movie - however they did score 'murderball' - maybe they have a thing for disabled sports teams? :S
