Dec 5 2008'Zombie Nazis Attacking a Mountain Cabin' Trailer
Zombies and Nazis. They're the two groups we, as a society, have agreed can be killed without further justification than their title, so it's only natural someone would eventually think, "Let's just make zombie Nazis so that we really don't have to feel any remorse in their murder." Norwegian director Tommy Wirkola's Dead Snow isn't the first time the two forces will merge, but it may be the first time
"Ein, zwei, DIE" is used as a tagline, so for that it's won my kudos. Here's the trailer:
(from Twitch)
I'm not a fan of this fast-moving zombies thing, but I do like that zombie Nazis would still be pissed if you stole their war gold.

It should have been called Der Zombieshnitzel. Just play Left 4 Dead to get your zombie movie fix in. Its way better than this crap.

Umm didn't this happen already? What about 'Frontiers'.... Enough with the god'damned Nazis already!!!! Find some other group of people to lambaste! It's been done to DEATH! What about diesel Russian zombies on the Eastern Front hacking apart German soldiers and devouring the pieces? The fact that it actually happened prevents it from being made into a movie I suppose....

fyi this is sort of like a 30 days of Night Comic Book entilted RED SNOW.
ps the comic is much better than this storyline.

Nazi Zombies, eh? Surely you meant: http://www.esplatter.com/reviewsotos/shockwaves.htm.
And anyway, who the hell does that first zombie think he is? Sergei Dragunov?

Dead snow? ..... what the fuck is dead snow...?
Wasn't there one part that reminded you of the "True, true" Budwiser ad when everyone is screaming.... kinda sounded like the "Whazzzup....." part.....
I applaud the effort of low- to medium-budget film makers, but it still just make we want to watch an episode of "No reservations" or "Cops" or something...

I don't understand why everyone is being down on this. People think this movie takes itself serious? It looks fantastically hilarious. It had me the instant they quoted Indiana Jones.

That looks tight! The "zoom in to the chainsaw" scene is kind of a rip off from Evil Dead/Army of Darkness. Or for you younger kiddies....Shaun of the Dead.

I am very excited about this film because 1) I freaking love zombies and zombie movies (even crappy ones) and 2) my granparents are Norwegian and it's neat to see a movie in their language. If I don't get to see this in the theater, I will surely buy it on dvd.
Other Nazi Zombies: Dead Lake and the first episode of the Iron Man cartoon series from 1994.
Kudos for having a guy where a BrainDead shirt.

This movie's gonna kick ass, i love zombie movies & i dont mind em running, it gives the zombies a bit more edge, nor do i mind em hitting back, it's nice to see a different kind of zombie movie every once in a while.
I've seen alot of nazi & zombie movies & games in my lifetime & i can never get bored on either one of em; more pretty please?

My girlfriend points out that the tag line translates to:
One, Two, THE!
26. ..... - December 13, 2008 8:01 PM
I don't know any Norwegian, but if the tagline is supposed to be German they got the spelling wrong. It would have to be "eins, zwei" instead of "ein, zwei"
Trailer looks fun. Although using Beethoven as soundtrack is kind of lame
27. yomomma - December 23, 2008 11:05 AM
Yo The heat the tagline is: German, German, English. get it? ;)
"I just got an order that i cant turn down
I'm killing nazi zombies in a german town"
