Dec 2 2008'Wolverine' Shall Have a Vast Toy Line
20th Century Fox (best Fox century) has released four new production photos from Wolverine. There aren't any new looks at Gambit, Blob, or Deadpool, who are all in the movie for some reason, but there are some new shots of Wolverine and Sabretooth that reveal that the film is going to produce so many action figures. What kid isn't going to want their mom to buy them a Normandy Wolvie with Post-Traumatic Flashback Projector (above)! Or...
Weapon X Transformation Wolvie with Bubble Tank and Sewer Swimmin' Legs! Or...

Arms Out Wolvie' with Squatting Bell-Bottom Action! Or...

Conversational Wolvie with Intense Stare Head? This will probably be the worst-selling figure.

Wolverine met Captain America in WW2, maybe we'll see him in the movie ._.
4. Jesus - December 2, 2008 2:27 PM
Matt, the X-men films are made by Fox.
No relation to the Marvel Sudios films.

Jesus, they might throw something about him in there for kicks, like a name or whatever... and I love you

jesus x-men are owned marvel and fox idiot mavel own all rights to the x-men films and matts right caps did meet logan in world war so a sighting is a good chance in seeing steve rogers or not depending on the way the movie goes
i wonder how far they go into logans past

Wouldn't pre-super soldier serum Steve Rodgers have been wasted immediately trying to storm a beach anyway?

Marvel does not have the rights to X-men in film form until Fox's contract is up. This is the same reason you won't see Spiderman in any Marvel films but Spiderman, until the 6 picture deal with Sony is up.
The reason Marvel does their own films now is so they can avoid this happening again in the future. Unfortunately though, Marvel signed off on a few characters before deciding to do their own filsm so Fox has the rights to X-Men until their contract is up. Meaning we won't see Cap/X-Men/Spiderman in the same movie for a long long time.

Why is Wolverine taller than Sabretooth?
I'm pretty sure wolverine's supposed to be two steps away from legally being a midget...

Great images. A few days ago a prototype wolverine figure leaked online, I guess these images (especially the military one) all but confirms that it is from the new Wolvereine Origin toy line.

@Dave
because DeNiro couldnt do a convincing RAWRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR for the camera, so they went with Jackman instead.
true story.

@7: Yeah, but Rogers wasn't legally in the military. He wouldn't be storming a beach.
They totally got Sabretooths look wrong forr this. I don't know if Ryan Reynolds as DP or this dude as Sabre would be worse. At least they will both probably get the personality right. Thats what matters, I guess.

I always ended up with the worst-selling figure, left over after everyone else's mom got the good ones.
17. The F'n Jem'Hadar - December 2, 2008 8:38 PM
Ryan Reynolds will have the personality right, and if they have him in mask and suit then it wont matter how he looks underneath (besides a scar reveal)

Heh, at first glance I thought the top image was a shoop. I know it's canon, but dammit, Logan looks silly in that pic.

Actually: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captain_America_in_other_media#The_First_Avenger:_Captain_America
And there was a really crappy one in the 90's, but let's pretend that didn't happen, shall we.
