Dec 1 2008'TR2N' Renamed to Sound Like a Motorola Phone
/Film has reported that trade magazine Production Weekly claims the upcoming Tron sequel, which Disney has thus far marketed as TR2N, has gone through a change of title in response to all the criticism. Now it's being called TRZ. So that takes care of the whole idiotic, unpronounceable title issue.

Actually, a guy named DigiDave on the original /Film page posted his (quite possibly correct) theory: An N looks like a 2 on its side, right? OK, stay with me... You basically have both TRN and TR2 *in the same title.* Pure genius!
All sarcasm aside, I truly believe this was the intent of the TR2N/TRZ naming committee.

How about TRYWADXC?
Or TRJIGYZXWH?
Or maybe...just maybe... Tron 2?

Ha, Tron 2. What a horrible logical name for a movie about a computer. "Cause computers use logic". I scoff at the thought.

This is what happens when you listen to fanboys. This and "Attack of the Clones". And scads of bad "Punisher" movies, and....

Well if we are going to do thing that make little sense at all, how about:
Tron: Reloaded
Tron 2: The Quickening
The Big Lebowski 2: This isn't F-ing Nam man!
TRZ: Attack of the Consonants
14. D - December 2, 2008 1:28 PM
TR2?

how about:
Tr2n: Th2 G22d G2y 2s N2w th2 B2d G2y
Having a subtitle describing the plot and removing all vowels and replacing them with the number "2" is probably the best route to take. And numbers in titles is SO big right now. Remember how awesome "2Fast 2Furious" was? yeah, that movie rocked. The third one sucked because it wasn't called "3Faster 3Furiouser"

T20N or T2ON would at least be l33t sp34k... but TRON 2.0 was awesome for the game, why not use it here?! Or even TRON 1.5...

How about I trz on this movie?
