Dec 22 2008'Thundercats' Trailer Made From Old Clips and Computers
I saw this all over the place today, so it's about time I post it behind everyone else. Here's an insanely elaborate fan-made trailer for a Thundercats movie that casts Brad Pitt, Vin Diesel, Hugh Jackman, girl from Farscape, Spy Kids, and CGI Garfield in the lead roles:
Good work, WormyTV. And nice to see Old Knight from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade getting work again.

This is great work! But the really ironic thing is how this guy has taken images from separate and unconnected movies and made a "trailer" that looks just as good as any other real trailer AND conveys the logic of the story behind it. It's almost like trailers are like dreams - dreams are said to be mostly random images and such and it is not until after we wake up does the conscious mind assign a plot to connect the images together...
Damn, I didn't mean to over analyze that or anything...

15. billy d williams - December 23, 2008 10:26 AM
wow, that was spectacularly boner-inducing. Whoever made that has some skillz. Skillz enough to pay and and all bill that they might incur.
16. Eric - December 23, 2008 10:39 AM
Can we get some screen caps of all the different characters? I'm particularly interested to see Mum-Ra's henchmen. I noticed Tim Roth from Planet of the Apes as Monkeyman, but I'd like to see them all laid out.
17. Adra - December 23, 2008 10:48 AM
Pretty awesome. Lol if you could get that cast to do it it would rock...yes rock...like the kids say it.
Gx
18. nrgspike - December 23, 2008 12:13 PM
I used to like Thundercats as a kid sure, but now I want to see that film. THAT film!!!
Quick, someone give WormyTV the directors chair before Uwe Boll gets a hold of the idea!
19. Rik - December 23, 2008 12:44 PM
Holy fuck that was awesomesauce.
20. markonius maximus - December 23, 2008 1:01 PM
I bet this mock trailer will be better than the actual film.
Tyrese? Really?
C'mon Man!
21. Delgo - December 23, 2008 1:05 PM
Do I hear Peterman @ 00:47?
22. HOmer Jay - December 23, 2008 1:54 PM
HAHAHAHA was that the wall from the power rangers movie? When they go to discover their new ninja powers.
23. GARTHvader - December 23, 2008 2:59 PM
I'm having goosebumps from watching that trailer. Can you imagine Brad Pitt and Vin Diesel working together? Holy crap, that was bananas!
Totally looks legit.
24. delic8 - December 23, 2008 4:47 PM
I don't care if I was 6 the last time I watched Thundercats. I don't care if those actors would never in a million years work together.
I want tot see that movie.
25. StriderMalcom - December 23, 2008 9:53 PM
Holy shit. I'd watch that. I really really would. That was amazing.
26. Chris - December 25, 2008 1:32 PM
looks like it would be better than the Dragonball movie.
27. Claudia - December 26, 2008 9:18 PM
I really like this work, but I'd change chitara for Alice from Residen Evil
28. Aroinak - December 30, 2008 3:02 AM
Wow.... simply wow... I would be telling everyone about the new movie too, were it not for the disclaimer. Only thing is the choice for Cheetara could have been better and I hated the Garfield movie, so Snarf would bug me (even more) throughout the movie. But Brad Pitt as Lion-O and Vin Diesel as Panthro = Awesome.
Also, Spy Kids? Really? lol
29. ryan - December 30, 2008 5:52 PM
Totally gay and they stole a scene right out of "Mad Max beyond Thunderdome"
30. I'm a homosexual - December 30, 2008 7:38 PM
FAKE!!!
This is great work! But the really ironic thing is how this guy has taken images from separate and unconnected movies and made a "trailer" that looks just as good as any other real trailer AND conveys the logic of the story behind it. 31. junglerox - December 30, 2008 10:53 PM

32. junglerox - December 30, 2008 10:55 PM

33. flacahoe - January 2, 2009 12:07 AM

36. Zeeshan - January 3, 2009 1:03 PM

Im sayin im waitin for the real. i just dont care even its real trailer to yet show later in future. Iv watched the animation, and i say, lets not waste it. But thanks for the heads up, for this post comments.

42. lio - January 7, 2009 8:23 PM
NarFFFFFF!!!!!!
43. ChunRhee - January 8, 2009 2:40 PM
it is a sad, sad state of things when someone can make such a quality fake trailer from splicing different movies, characters, and using moderate CGI for makeup revamps and have it come out looking better and more exciting than what the actual movie will be. now, if you guys would be a love and make a fake "street fighter" trailer to show the asshats how it should be done, that would be peachy.
kudos and applause to you. v.impressive.
44. Dave - January 9, 2009 12:05 AM

48. BlackOrb - January 13, 2009 5:29 AM
Here is some info about Thundercats movie...
source: http://thundercats-the-movie.net/2007/07/24/thundercats-the-movie-out-2010/
Thundercats is on its way to the big screen……at last! Warner Brothers are turning the 80’s animated series and toy line into a movie from a script written by Paul Sopocy, first-time screenwriter.
Spring Creek Pictures are set to produce the movie. Dan Lin, Senior Vice President of Production at Warner Brothers, will produce along with Paula Weinstein, Dick Robertson and Lew Korman.
Despite initial news stories, the movie is going to be a CGI-animated feature and not a live action movie. The movie is set to be released in 2010. I have been waiting years for this movie, I really do hope that it is worth the wait!
49. leujin - January 13, 2009 1:22 PM
oh, if only...
50. Michael Janapin - January 14, 2009 6:26 PM
I grew up watching Thundercats. If WormyTV would make this into a full movie, I'll be the first one in line. :-)
Thanks WormyTV!
51. Colleen - January 16, 2009 6:34 PM
