In the aliens' defense here, I think if I came to Earth and was greeted with a massive stone monument to Dwayne Johnson 'n' Kids, I'd probably be pretty eager to destroy it too.

Nothing is sacred anymore. I really thought they would overlook this one and never remake it. 'Escape to Witch Mountain' and 'Return to Witch Mountain' were two of my favorite movies as a kid. Donald Pleasence is spinning in his grave at warp speed.

And aren't the "kids" supposed to be brother/sister? If so, why are they nuzzling so close? Is this Witch Mountain meets Flowers in the Attic??

Why do people keep calling this a remake. It's not, it takes place 30 years after the events of the orginals, I loved the orignals too so I'll definatly see this.
