Dec 23 2008John Connor Checks Out This Terminator Thing
From Film School Rejects, here's a new shot of Christian Bale pokin' around at a Terminator Hydro-Bot, talkin' shop, you know. Sometimes in hard, post-apocalyptic times, you have to just go in the garage with some buds, crack open a six-pack, and tool around with the machines that are trying to eliminate your species. So real.

I don't hold a lot of hope for this film when it is stealing scenes from 'Transformers'. Lemme guess, Bale points at it and goes "This thing is WICKED."

Bone claws... that's Wolverine (and that movie looks a bit ridiculous).
I really hope this is quality 'cause Bale has such a good streak going for him right now.

Is it just me, or did the preview say that everything had changed?
It seemed to me as though the future John Connor is expecting from his mother's tales, isn't going to happen now. At least not in the same way. I could have just read into it too much. But perhaps the terminators sending something back to the beginning of the battle to completely change history, would be a great refresher for this series. OF course, people would complain that it wasn't what they remember from the earlier movie flashbacks, but they would be missing the point.
If they don't change something, it's going to be three movies of a long drawn out battle, during which, we're not worried for John Connor at all because we know he'll at least make it until the terminators are nearly wiped out. It would be hard to build suspense when you know the guy isn't going to die until the third movie.
And of course the leader of a rebellion against machines bent on our destruction, is going to poke around at a dead one, and help his soldiers understand how they work, and what their weaknesses are. that comment seemed pretty ignorant to me. I assume the writer has seen the other movies. But maybe not. Seemed logical to me.
