Thanks to Matt for noting that Kotaku has posted the first photograph of Chun-Li's thighs from the new Street Fighter movie. Who are these people kidding? Those are not Chun-Li thighs. As a pre-pubescent at the time of Street Fighter's release, I became intimately, almost disgustingly familiar with Chun-Li's thighs, and these aren't them. Hers are thick, muscular, firm but with an underlying softness. That's why she's good at kicking things. Because of those magical thighs.
I'm willing to forgive some costume alterations, but upper leg diameter is non-negotiable.

I too, am very fonf of Chun-Li's theighs and get your point. However I am very fond of Kristin and she can wrap her theighs around me anytime!

Chun-Li without her gorgeous, tremendous thighs which I would like to lodge my head between?! What is this world coming to? We have terror in the Middle East, crime on our own shores, and Chun-Li with normal, non skull-crushing thighs?! Why not just take away Spider-Man's Spider Sense or Iron Man's battle suit or World of Warcraft's nerds?! We need Chun-Li's wonderful thighs, or else the teenage gamers will have nothing to become... familiar with, and they will explode! THE NEXT GENERATION DEPENDS ON CHUN-LI'S AMAZON THIGHS!
