Dec 22 2008'Fast & Furious' Poster is Reasonably Fast & Furious, I Guess
The way I see it, there are three ways to interpret this poster:
1. The cast of Fast & Furious are standing in the desert, in front of a car, and are being reflected in its hood.
2. Someone got overly excited after the original Fast and the Furious and ran to their local airbrush artist to regrettably de-value their car.
3. An anthropomorphic car is reminiscing about its times on the set of The Fast and the Furious, which is shown through a cartoon shorthand similar to when dollar signs appear in someone's eyes.
It's probably meant to be the first one, but I think the third would be good as a scene in Cars 2.

FIRST and foremost, that engine looks like the engine I have for my GTO.
That's pimpin.
*ignore my lies, I really don't have muscle car. Or a car for that matter.
Only if you consider a FIAT UNO a car, then so be it.

The desert and the vintage car reminds me of "Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!"
(I still ain't gonna see this, though.)

From the angle of that reflection, relative to the angle the photo was taken at, I'd assume that those four somehow became some form of useless X-men, whose only mutant power mysteriously allows them to float above cars in the desert. Or perhaps we're viewing the ghosts of a dead movie franchise floating ominously above another flop, haunting the writers to continue writing sequels until they finally get something right (Only THAT would explain how there could be 4 of these horrid films).

I think the 1st movie takes more flack than it should. I think it was suprisingly good, especially compared to how I thought it would be. The second and third, however. . .
