Dec 3 2008Can You Handle MORE 'SPEED'???
AICN is reporting that, despite Sandra Bullock's able handling of an out-of-control boat scenario, vehicular travelers may still not be safe drive at their own pace. Fox is supposedly interesting in making a third chapter of the Speed series, and is considering bringing Keanu Reeves back to the role of Jack Traven. The news makes me hopeful the studio is considering using my script, Speed Through Time, in which Keanu travels at such a high speed that he travels through time, and the Speed premise is used to explain famous historic events. A lot of: "Oh no, I've got to get this ocean liner under control... and it's the Titanic! Ut oh, now I've got to ride this horse at a constant 35mph... and I'm Paul Revere!" I really take the Speed concept to the next level, that next level being Quantum Leap with Keanu Reeves and speed-based terrorism.

Yeah, let's just let this one go. The first one was actually a pretty decent film at the time of its release. The second not so much. I dont see any future for a 3rd movie in the series.

Jack has been kicked out of the force for decapitating every bad guy that holds a grudge against him.
Bullock is a weapons specialist for SWAT now.
Jack is now a trolly driver in San Francisco. But today is not going to be his day.
Flash to Preview shots of Bullocks character jumping onto The trolly from a 4 story roof. Que heavy percussion theme music. Other random action and tag lines thrown in for measure. Explosions, Vespas and Smart cars being run off the road. Utter Mayhem. Basically the "wad", if you will, blown in the preview.
End with the two, fake smiles and all, saying, "you know what they say about relationships rekindled, again, under extreme circumstances.
It would be perfect. For 8 year olds that don't dig Pixar flicks.

Well according to Einstein we're all travelling through time at light speed, it's only space that we can't travel that fast through. Yes, I watched Horizon last night and now I'm a genius!

Actually you could combine "Speed Thru Time" with "Bill and Ted" and then you would have lines such as:
"Sandra Bullock, don't hit that gnarly Black Knight Dude!"
Or
"Hey Ted Dude? Isn't Sandra Bullock babolicious?"
Or
"Sandra Bullock, cruise the bus by Circle K before we bolt to the olden days."

Keanu Reeves has quashed rumours that he will star in a third Speed movie.
Reports recently surfaced online claiming that 20th Century Fox has a script for a Speed 3 that features Reeves's cop character Jack Traven.
Speaking to IGN, the actor denied knowledge of the project and insisted that he won't star in it.
"I honestly don't know anything about it," he said. "I don't know if they are going to make another one, and if they are it won't be with me... honestly!"
The original Speed, which starred Reeves and Sandra Bullock, revolved around a bus wired up to a bomb that would explode should the vehicle's speed drop below 50 mph. A sequel was made with Jason Patric stepping in as a new character to replace Reeves.

@9, unfortunately the only thing that may be infinite is the universe itself. Ironic in a way.
