Nov 10 2008'Dance Flick' Poster: Wayans Bros. Answer to 'Disaster Movie'
From MTV Movies Blog, here's a grim portent of our bleak, parody-filled future. At least we can find some solace that, unlike some other parody movie posters, at least this one mostly sticks to the movie genre it's supposedly spoofing--even if one of those "dance movies" is a decade-old internet video of a 3D dancing baby. Nothing is off limits for these guys, no matter how irrelevant. I hear Thomas Edison's 1894 film of Native Americans performing a Buffalo Dance is recreated with Amy Winehouse impersonators to great comic effect.

Wayans Bros. hasn't done a spoof movie since Scary Movie 2.... Da a$$holes who co-wrote Scary movie 1 & 2 kept goin wit it and made Scary Movie 3-5, Meet the Spartans, Disaster Movie, Epic Movie, Superhero movie, Bitch Movie, Stop Movie, Please Movie....
But I'd like to see if Wayans can be as funny as Scary Movie 2.... Which none have been funny since....

while you were right about the Wayans making Scary Movie 1 and 2
the people who made all the shitty "______ Movie"s were not the same people who made Scary Movie 3 and 4, except Superhero Movie.
and I'm glad that people who finally understand how spoof movies work are going to be making this. The poster is already ten times funnier than Disaster Movie

I think that this must be a parody of movies like "Stomp the Yard" and "Step Up 2 the Streets", right? the crossover audience of people who like those movies AND shit spoof movies AND The Wayans Bros. must be relatively small. Oh, and people who like to do abortions... the CHEAP way
