Oct 31 2008'Fanboys are Old and Sexless' Poster

OK, I don't get it. The plot of Fanboys is a group of kids breaking into the Skywalker Ranch to give their friend a screening of The Phantom Menace before he dies of cancer, so I get the Darth Vader part. Referencing Darth Vader makes sense. But why the 40-Year-Old Virgin parody? For a movie that so embraces geekiness, it seems out-of-character to be pointing out the perpetual virginity of fanboys. Also, it's redundant. Of course a guy in a Darth Vader mask isn't having sex. We all know the Boba Fetts are getting all the real P action.

I may be remembering this wrong, but didn't Robert Carradine lay that cheerleader with Vader mask on towards the end of Revenge of the Nerds?

it was like a knock-off vader mask, and she only laid him because she thought he was the douche jock.

Anyways, yeah I was going to make a comment about boba fett, sex, and slave one but it escaped me.

I remember seeing the first trailer for this movie like 3 years ago.

Why would fanboys want to see The Phantom Menace?

Maybe it's because they're virgins to the horrors of the prequels?

yeah, it was supposed to come out like 2 or 3 years ago. and now they release a poster (trailers have been shown FOREVER ago), which doesnt even show a release date. WHATTHEFUCK?!

what is/has been the damn hold up on this movie?

if yah go to tha website they have on the poster, it sayz FEB. 6! YAY!!!!

Gotta say, the Han quote made me smile.

the things i'd do to Boba

Okay. So they took The 40 Year Old Virgin poster and photochopped a Vader mask in.

Dare I say, "Big whoop"? And @ #3. 15 yard penalty, unecessary nerdiness. Second down.

#10...15 yards AND loss of down....come oooooooon!!!!!!!!!!111
