Well, while it lasts, here's the teaser to Dragonball. Like everything else we've seen of this movie, it's not very good. And apparently they're just using the cars from Transfomers? Oi.

btw -i met a guy at seagraph who worked on cg for the movie, he said "goku" transforms into a fucking lizard... i really hope he was fucking with me

This was a great show, but it looks like a poor movie.
And, they are not the same cars as Transformers; The yellow car is a Dodge Charger, not a Camaro.

Glad to have finally watched the trailer, but I was really hoping for just a shit load of energy beams. What a disappointment.

If this had been made in the '90s before the general success of adaptations by being reverential to the sources, I would accept it. However, this came out after many films have been very successfully adapted.
Way to suck at making a film. I foresee protests in Japan.

I wish American fans wouldn't go near anime either. Maybe then I wouldn't see the shit everywhere I look. It's nice to see something that anime fans like getting pissed on. I hope the movie flops and the Dragonball franchise never recovers.

The closest I can think of what happened is this:
Guy1: Lets make a kung-fu movie!
Guy2: Fuck Yeah! But, hey...there have been so many lately how the heck are we going to sells ours.

Guy2: Fuck Yeah!!! That will sell. The people watching them don't even have IQ's over 40 anyways. Who'll know the diff?
