Angels & Demons? More like Angels and Dozin'! Because it will be boring!

Like the movie will literally put me to sleep. This snoozing angel statue is a more accurate representation, of how I'll sleep through it. You know what I'm saying?

Tom Hanks was a really shitty Robert Langdon. No charisma at all. It was like he was bored.

While reading the Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons, I always pictured Edward Norton as the main character. He could have done it, and done it well.

He's the best fit to the character. Tom Hanks was boring as hell and he had absolutely no chemistry with the actress playing the bitch.

man the concept of that poster sucks
because it's *old*......
I hate when these guys get paid to design posters and steal an old idea!

At least this won't result in art history professors dedicating an entire lecture to why Dan Brown is an idiot. My professor started with the very important inaccuracy of referring to Leonardo da Vinci as "Da Vinci" rather than the correct "Leonardo" and took it from there.

shit! one of his/her wings is fucked!!
now that's movie i wanna see.

Oh good, a crappy sequel to one of the worst books I've ever read. Who wants to bet that this will fuel even MORE anti-LHC hysteria? "But they'll make antimatter like in that Dan Brown movie and what if terrorists get it ohmygodshutitdown!"

its the prequel, idiot.tom hanks is the next best thing to pierce brosnan...so watch it. you are all 38 year old idiots stuck in your mom's basement. learn how to read first, THEN discuss how awesome this movie will be.

Funny my girlfriend has that exact same expression when I go down on her.

@6 Prequel, sequel, it's the same character in a similar story by the same author; the internal timeline of the character is unrelated to my opinion of it.

As I said before, it's "one of the worst books I've ever READ." Kind of means I've read the book, doesn't it? And, having read it, I stand by my opinion that it's absolute garbage. It is the exact, complete and total opposite of awesome.. Dan Brown is a hack, at best. And, thus, any movie based in any significant way on his novels - any of them - will also be terrible. Tom Hanks being a good actor does not change that.

Watching the Da Vinci Code movie made me wonder why I liked the book so much. I wonder if Angels & Demons will do the same.

I liked Angels & Demons. Actually, I felt it was more polarizing than The DaVinci Code. Never did see the latter, but I'll see this.

yeah... this movie like Da Vinci code will probably be a "My big fat greek wedding" all over again, no suspense or conflict.
To heck with daniel brown

I thought the books were amazing, but the movie for Da Vinci Code was horrible. They should have hired another person to write a script for the movie instead of trying to use the book itself as a script. Everything they showed in the movie was straight out of the book but without all the extra background information, or other side plots that went on. The movie didn't make any sense at all unless you've already read the book before.

I'm looking forward to this movie though.. secret plot to assassinate the pope? What can't be interesting about that

I enjoyed the book, but I really don't want to see Tom Hanks play a giant forehead again.

Dan Brown is a miserable excuse for a writer. I read one of his not-DaVinci Code books. This one was about government code breakers, and it was painfully obvious that he was a technophobe. He had absolutely no knowledge of the subject. Not that I'm an encryption specialist. But I do know that the government doesn't go to MIT and offer the top students double what they would make in the private sector to secure the best and the brightest. After that, the whole book read like an episode of McHale's Navy to me.

Oh, the book..Deception Point...yeah that was a real doozy. I've read ALL his books and I personally think A&D is the best of the lot....I dunno about how it'll make as a movie though... but I'll totally watch it b/c Ewan McGregor is in it.

I also hated Tom Hanks as Langdon.....I picture Langdon as I dunno...sexier, more intelligent looking, less forehead, more of those alleged swimmer muscles >_>. All I see is Forrest Gump trying to be an Art History professor.

I have all of Dan Brown's books and I think A & D was the best. Da Vinci Code was a poorly made adaptation from the original storyline. Basic story was the same, but a ton of the sidebars that made the book interesting were skipped over in the interest of time. I hope the prequel doesn't suffer the same fate.

BTW, the government DOES go into the top engineering schools to find the best and the most innovative of the intelligence communities. (Cryptologist, encryption specialists, security programmers, and the like). I'm proud to say I am one of them, but from RIT, not MIT.
