Sep 24 2008'Watchmen' Legal Update: Dressing Up as a Comic Book Character Resolves Everything

watchmen-rorschach-picket.jpg

Hey, everyone who's concerned Warner Bros. may be forced to delay Watchmen due to the ongoing rights battle with Fox, you can stop worrying. Everything is cool. There's a man dressed as Rorschach standing outside Fox studios holding a sign that says "WILL YOU WATCH THE WATCHMEN?" on one side and "FOX WON'T STOP ME" on the other. So that's that. Case closed. Another victory for cosplay.

Maybe I'm too old but what ever happened to calling it "costumes" or "dressing up" or anything involving actual words?

I'd give more examples but I have to yell at the kids on my lawn. (I tie them down in the back yard and run outside and yell at them every 15 minutes.)

You know, this guy would get a lot more attention if he painted his naked body blue and THEN picketed...

Take that Fox studios....

I think I'll drive down there and bring that guy a sandwich...

#1- Rorschach is the name of a dude in Watchmen.

& #2- I will paint my entire body blue any day for a juicy sandwich from you.

& & #3- You are one sexy beast.

Bubba Gump out.

#3 you're an idiot, I know who rorschach is. Clearly, i was referring to "cosplay".

you're not as smart as you think you are

Yeah, I'm with #2. If he were Dr. Manhattan, I'd totally buy it. Plus, Rorschach petitioning for the Watchmen to be watched makes no sense- he's the most creepy and paranoid of the lot. Well, the most obviously so I guess.

Oopsy poopsys.. my mistake. Bubba Gump is an idiot (which we all -including myself- already knew) I apologize Ms. Wendy. I will now share my sandwich with you if you would like

I like Bumpy Gump.

...even if I have no idea who he is.

More naked blue people! (I'm looking at you Smurf trilogy protesters).

Well I must agree that Dr. Manhattan Is a better protestor then Rorschach, Because Rorschach would just go into fox studio and start kick ass and taking names.

#1-
Cosplay is a contraction of the two words "costume" and "play."
