Sep 11 2008This Giant Robot Composed of Other Robots Will Be in 'Transformers 2'
TFW2005 has received word that Devastator, the above combination of several construction vehicle robots that form a larger robot, will play a part in Transformers: Rise Revenge of the Fallen. Here are the details:
- Seven construction vehicles merge to form Devastator - Devastator has lots of upper body strength, like a gorilla - Not just green, some of the vehicles are red and yellow
Does he actually look like a gorilla now, or is he just really strong and whoever wrote this said, "You know what else is strong? A gorilla. This thing is like a gorilla." These are the things I wonder.
Also, why haven't we heard about the dinosaur ones being in this? The dinosaur ones are everyone's favorite, because they're dinosaurs.

I can't believe they'd make a Transformers movie with Devastator and not include the Dinobots...really they're the only counter the Autobots have for Devastator. Me Grimlock, me King!

As someone already mentioned, a Decepticon named Bonecrusher already appeared in the first Transfromers. HOWEVER, he forgot to mention that another Decepticon in the movie (the one fashioned after an Abrams Tank) identifies himself as Devastator.

I'm sure that everyone knows that the names have already been used, but considering that the title is "Revenge of the Fallen", I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that even though they were destroyed they will somehow be back.
My guess is that the Decepticons somehow get a hold of some undeveloped protoforms (the space-travel mode bullshit) and transfer the "spark" of the destroyed decepticons into the new ones, giving the writers/film makers/toy makers the ability to use the character names again. Granted the 2nd time around it will be the right mode/version of said characters.
Wow...given that fact that I just came up with that in like 14 seconds flat is totally killing my chances of getting laid for the rest of the year.

Okay, scratch that, as much as I love Beast Wars, I doubt it would ever make a good movie. Couldn't be any worse than Transformers though, I guess.

Can we get some Italian sports cars in this next movie please? Out of curiosity, how tall would this guy be in the movie. The Bonecrusher that O.P. owned was huge as it is. Get 6 of those effers together and th Autobots are gonna get wrecked. Unless they have Omega Surpreme. And maybe Jetfire to whup on Starscream's ass.
