Sep 19 2008'The Spirit' Posters Make You Feel Like YOU ARE (Near) The Spirit

New character posters for The Spirit have taken a novel approach to showing the opposition of the film's hero and villain. For the first poster, we get a bullet-riddled Spirit as seen from the perspective his arch-nemesis, The Octopus. So naturally, for the second, we see The Octopus, this time from the viewpoint of... an unseen third-party observer whose view is being obscured by The Spirit's flapping tie? Yes:

Good thing The Octopus's coat has that crotch cut-away, or we wouldn't see his crotch.

I am the spirit.

No, really, I am.

They didn“t get the pistols right. Weak.

"I'm gonna kill you all kinds of dead"??
WTF does that mean? I'm guessing that's jackson talking and not the white guy....

I kinda like that one where "THE Spirit" is full of bullet holes, even though the rest of the poster sucks

A. When did earth get two suns? One directly behind "the Spirit" and one in the clouds behind "the Octopus."

B. "I'm going to kill you all kinds of dead" An epic example of Frank Miller's "extraordinary" writing ability.

hmmm what else is wrong here?

Oh oh oh I know!
Samuel L Jackson is wearing stripper boots!

the spirit's shadow in the the octopus poster is missing bullet holes.

Octopus? I thought it was faux brain?

what the shit. these "posters" are so fuckin bad.
the major errors hav already been pointed out but even stylistically its garbage. the 3d typography almost works for the top one...almost but not really..however the 2nd one looks ridiculously ugly.

if you start with the 2nd one then look at the 1st it fits better

how much is Sam L. Jackson & Morgan Freeman worth? seriously, they're in every movie known to mankind.
