Sep 22 2008'Revolutionary Road' Trailer Will Shatter Your 'In Titanic, What if Jack Lived???' Fantasies

Looks like anyone looking for a return to the Kate/Leo romance of Titanic is in for some disappointment. In this trailer for Sam Mendes's Revolutionary Road, there is no naked charcoal drawing, no king of the world yelling, no breaking socioeconomic boundaries in the name of transatlantic lust. These two are constantly yelling at each other, like real couples, instead of being the most in love humans have ever been, like fictional couples on boats. What I'm saying is this looks much better than Titanic.

That road was so revolutionary, it should be wearing a Che t-shirt.

is soul-crushing.

titanic sucked! me and my friend thought it was going to be good... like a pms and chocolate movie, but it was so boring... well, yeah that's how boring it was

Oh my god I love it.

Thank you.

It feels surreal to say so, but I'm actually looking forward to this. No one does disillusionment with the promise of America like Sam Mendes, even if this is just a re-skinned total conversion mod for American Beauty.

And it looks like Kate Winslet shouldn't just turn into an evil version of a Lifetime Original Movie heroine like Annette Bening did, so at least this will be better than Jarhead.

I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This looks awesome.

shades of mad men....

leos best since blood diamond maybe.

cool. somebody made a movie out of that Brad Pitt/Angelina Jolie spread in W years back.

Did this hit a little close to home for anyone else? I think I need to quit my job and move now. When we bought the house and had the kid, it did feel a lot like taking the blue pill.

Wow, a movie about suburban angst.

Epic Failure

omigod, it's a movie about my marriage.
