Sep 22 2008'Kick-Ass' Set Shots Look Accurate
In Toronto, shooting on Matthew Vaughn's Kick-Ass adaptation has begun, and here's the first shot to emerge from the set. Over at /Film, they have a couple more, along with some of the comic panels this scene is based on. You'll be astounded at how accurately a real-life bird man crashing onto the top of a car recreates a drawing of a bird man crashing onto the top of a car.

This could turn out to be pretty great, though i don't know how they will do the scene with the little girl cursing and being very violent.

It's Toronto, you're allowed to shoot little girls cursing and being violent! :)

This is gonna be amazing. The comic is one of the best I've read in a long, long time and it's only three issues deep.
Also just noticed that they removed the name of Christopher Mintz-Plasse's character from the IMDB page, probably because the character hasn't appeared in the comic yet. I think it was "Red Mist" or something thereabouts.
