Sep 19 2008It's Elementary That Jude Law is Playing Watson, Watson

Variety reports that, in addition to slowly, inadvertently transforming into Phil Collins, Jude Law will be taking on the role of Watson in Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes:

Jude Law is negotiating to join Robert Downey Jr. in "Sherlock Holmes," the drama that Guy Ritchie will direct for Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow Pictures.

Law is expected to close a deal shortly to play Watson, the super-sleuth's sidekick.

Does this guy love being in sleuth movies or what? He was in that movie Sleuth, then there's this movie with a sleuth... and... hmm... you know... there's probably one or two I'm forgetting, so we'll say that's three or four sleuth movies. And this could probably get a sequel if it does well, so that's six. So yeah, I was right in saying this guy loves being in sleuth movies. He's in like seven.

It's not only elementary, it's the law.

Wow! It's just as inane when I try it.

hey look Phil Collins looks like Jude Law

Mark Strong is Watson? He worked with Richie on RockNRolla.

I feel like inserting an idiotic Peter Griffin laugh at the attempts at humor here..please don't quit the day jobs is all I can say. Phil Collins/Jude Law? Well, number 1, NO, and secondly, like it hasn't been said before. Catch up.

Jude and Robert Downy jr are both good actors. I am looking forward to this movie.

Jude Law and Guy Ritchie? What a god fucking awful film that will be!

These wankers will not make Britain Great again, I tell you that for nothing!

Downy Jr is good though!
